Vivek Agnihotri’s ‘The Bengal Files,’ a political drama mired in controversy, has grossed approximately Rs 9.19 crore in India after five days. Despite facing screening challenges in West Bengal and competition from other films, it showed a slight improvement on Tuesday, earning Rs 1.29 crore. The film, starring Mithun Chakraborty and Anupam Kher, explores the communal violence of 1940s Bengal.
