Sheryl Lee Ralph’s recent comment about the Academy Awards sparked a debate on the role of sexuality in winning Oscars. She suggested that sex sells when it comes to winning. Her statement is interpreted as a dig at the film Anora which won five major awards, including Best Actress for Mikey Madison, who played a sex worker.
